👮Fifth grade had a special day spent with the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department! There were discussions about drug use, internet safety, and healthy relationships. 🐕We had special visits from the K-9 unit, a drone operator, and a guest speaker that shared his story.

Mr. Cunnane from UW-Eau Claire led a special Earth Day lesson for 4k and 5k students today. They took the celebration outside to discuss the importance of Earth Day and complemented the lesson with engaging activities. The students participated in "would you rather" questions, answering through fun exercises, followed by a relay race where they threw "trash" (bean bags) into "trashcans" (hula hoops). It was a delightful and educational day focused on nurturing a caring attitude towards our planet. #OneElevaStrum
📚Mrs. Niesen’s class has been writing class books since the fall and had the opportunity to learn how a real book becomes published. 📓The children have been working on writing their book over the last couple of months, beginning with a rough draft and finally submitting their final copy to the publishing company a few weeks ago.
