Mrs. Seifert's 4k class had a special guest reader, Carly Kantor. She told the students how as a child she would always visit the Strum Library and pick out the same book each time. She brought that special book to share with our class. The book is The Fox's Egg by: Ikuyo Isami. 🦊🥚
The class all enjoyed having Carly visit them! #OneElevaStrum

🪴💧💨☀️In their Plant unit, the 4Kers are diving into the essentials of what plants need to thrive: water, air, nutrients, and sunlight, along with understanding the different parts of plants like roots, stems, leaves, and flowers!
Mrs. Sterry's students have taken their learning hands-on by planting their own peas, peppers, or beans. Stay tuned as they document their observations and watch their plants grow! 🌱 #OneElevaStrum

Ms. Neisen's 4K class has been learning all about how to fill someone's "bucket" this past week in CREW time.🪣 They've learned we can fill someones bucket by saying kind things, sharing, listening, and holding doors! But we do not want to dip from someone's bucket! We concluded the week by having students decorate their own bucket as a visual reminder to keep everyone's bucket full. 🚰 #OneElevaStrum

🏛️The Cardinal Historians have completed the new displays in the Central High School commons. Work began by archiving all the existing objects in the case and then selecting items to put back on display. 📝Students also researched and wrote labels and descriptive text for each of the displays as well. The themes of the new displays are "Eleva-Strum School History" and "Eleva-Strum Programs Then and Now".
Please take the opportunity to view them next time you are in the building. #OneElevaStrum
